Chocolate Sweet Hearts

  • All-purpose-flour – 1 cup
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder – ¼ cup
  • Baking soda – ½ teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Semisweet chopped chocolate – 4 ounces
  • Unsalted butter – ½ cup
  • Egg – 1


  • Take a bowl and mix cocoa, baking soda, flour and salt.. Take another bowl add simmering water, place some chocolate, butter, brown sugar. Stir if frequently till it get completely melted and combined with each other. Remove it from heat and stir it..Keep it aside for cooling.
  • Now add egg to above mixture. With mixture on low, stir it until it blended. Stir flour mixture until it will form a dough.
  • Divide your dough in two parts. Take parchment paper and roll each half portion on paper to ¼-inch thick. Transfer that half portion to baking sheet. Freeze that till 20 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degree. Keep one half at a time and flip dough. Remove the paper. Use 2-inch heart shape cookie cutter and the cookie. place, 1/2 inch apart, on two baking sheets. Bake that cookie about 8-10 minutes until it fragrant.
